We were given the opportunity to use and review Books2door’s amazing online bookstore which is full of so many wonderful children and young adult books at great prices.
Books2door’s website is easy to use, it has a wide range of childrens and young adult books that have been arranged into helpful categories so you can find age-appropriate books with ease.
I have used their website and received books from them before and both times their customer service has been brilliant. I was kept up to date on my order and received notifications from them until it was delivered in the expected time frame.
Danny Dingles Series
We received from Books2Door the wonderful Danny Dingle series written by Angie Lake. These books are funny with comic-style illustrations to keep children engaged and entertained.
This series called Fantastic Finds comes with 3 great Danny Dingles books which are –
- The Jet of Justice
- The Metal-Mobile
- The Super-Sonic submarine
Danny Dingle is a schoolboy inventory and in this series goes on hilarious adventures with his best friend Percy. The go searching a collecting cool stuff for their box of fantastic finds and pull out all the stops to beat the evil genius Gareth Trumpshaw.
Our Review
My 10-year-old daughter loves these books, she jumped on them straight away and took them off to read when they arrived. They are written in a comic style so they are easy to read and follow along to and would be great for reluctant readers. Throughout the book, there are comical illustrations to help add to the humour of the story.
My daughters enjoyed reading all the books in the series and would be laughing along to the story and calling me over to read the funny parts with them. I would recommend them they are brilliant for young readers who like to read comedy style books.
